Research

PhD title: Exploring diverse experiences of refugee settlement in regional Australia

John's research project is a longitudinal study of the housing sector-related settlement experiences of diverse young people from refugee backgrounds in regional Australia. 

John's overarching research interest is in human geography (with a focus on the settlement experiences of young people), urban and regional planning, refugee studies, gender studies, and peace and development studies.
