Early Admission

UOW Early Admission is our early entry offer program for students completing Year 12 (Higher School Certificate or other Australian equivalents) during 2024. When you apply for Early Admission, UOW considers your unique skills and experiences, alongside your Year 11 results, so you can earn an offer to uni before you sit your first exam.

Domestic high school leavers

If you're planning on coming to University after completing your HSC, or the International Baccalaureate (IB), you can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre, (UAC).

Coursework degrees (undergraduate & postgraduate)

If you’re a non-school leaver (i.e. completed Year 12 before 2023 and/or completed a TAFE qualification or equivalent), you can apply directly to UOW.

International students (coursework degrees)

For international students interested in studying at UOW, we strongly encourage you to speak to a UOW representative about eligibility, application process, course interests and other questions you may have. 

If you are based outside Australia and wish to apply for a course at UOW, you will need to engage the services of a UOW international representative/agent as you cannot apply directly. For your closest agent, please see our agent list.

International students who are currently studying in an Australian secondary school may choose to apply through the .

Higher degree research (HDR)

PhD, Professional Doctorate, Master of Philosophy, Bachelor of Research and Master of Research applicants can apply direct to UOW.

If you are an International student you should check UOWs general English Language requirements. Note that you will also need to understand the English language requirements for your .

All applicants for a Research Scholarship must submit two (Online, to be completed by the referees).
