Thesis Title: Walking Back: Towards Geographies of Belonging
The aim of my Masters research is to combine both geographical and creative arts scholarship to explore how walking as an art form can build and strengthen connection and community with Dharawal and Yuin Country, in south east Australia. With cultural training and guidance, I seek to model how non-Aboriginal artists can respectfully engage an ethics of place; to repair relationships with self and place, and to care for Country.
