The University’s academic governance body is comprised of Academic Senate (Senate) and its four standing committees:
Elections for academic staff and student representatives on Senate occur every two years.
The next round of elections will commence in April 2027 with the newly elected two-year membership terms commencing 1 July 2027.
Elections for the standing committees of Senate also take place every two years on alternate years.
The next round of elections for standing committees will commence in April 2028, with the newly elected two-year membership terms commencing on 1 July 2028.
Elections are supported by the Academic Governance and Standards Division (AGS) and conducted in accordance with the .
